What is it?
M-day, short for moving say is when the new website and boards are being properly announced.

What does this mean?
The Downsides first, it means you'll have to register on the new boards, as we will slowly me moving all work over to the new ones and phasing the old boards out

What is new though?
Ability for LO's and other Central Officers to post files and for all users to download them (leading to exec files, fest forms and Voting documentation being available immediately)
Contact List moved to the Forums, making things more easily updated
Events list (formally when are branches running) to be linked directly via the website
Ability for ALL users to report posts that could be deemed offensive / inflammatory
A More Robust warning system to aid the disciplinary procedure.
Ability for all Users to Send PM's to multiple recipients.

What about all of the information I’ve posted?
I'l going to slowly start moving announcements and stickies and Important posts over slowly, or you can do this yourself and PM me with a request to Sticky it.
The old board will stay live for a while (2 or 3 months) until its all moved over.. So dont worry about losing PM's or some big wipe..

Its just a new board we'd prefer for you to move to.

But why couldnt we just update and keep all the old information?
The boards were heavily customized that a straight upgrade to PHPBB3 would of been Fubar..
