Arda
The world of Fools and Heroes is called Arda. The countries within Arda correspond to the countries in the real world. The game is mostly set in Ithron, which is England, Sortho, which is Wales and Lirron, which is Scotland.

Norham Province
Corresponds to the United Kingdom.
Ithron
Ithron corresponds to England. The majority of Fools and Heroes is set within this country. The term is often interchangeable with Norham Province, as both Sortho and Lirron are ruled by the same King and governed by the same Laws. The term "Ithronian" generally applies to anyone from Norham Province, be they born in Ithron, Sortho or Lirron.
