This is one of the most respected posts in the Guilds of Ithron and has been held by some highly respected mages.

The Witchfinder is the equivilent of a Guild Enforcer or Protector, and as such is responsible for enforcing guild discipline as well as tracking down Witches (unguilded users of soulfire), recovering school and guild property, and making sure that the secrets of the guild are defended.
