Oxenford a breif history

For the last 15 years or so Adventures have been scares in the Oxenford Area and the region has nominaly been under controll of the Duchy of Fernham. However 4 years ago a Gray Knight by the name of Sir Cedric Alder appeared with a Young girl who he said was the rightful heir to the Earldom, the Daughter of Lady Siandra, Shophie Lovell. Apparenty the Girl had been left with the Gray Order when her monther had died for fears that her Great Uncle Davanna Lovell would use her to try and take the Earldom of Oxenford for himself again. However Sir Cedric a old friend of her Uncle Morgan believed that following the events of MMIV that she should take up her heriditary position and with his guidance she would be able to rule fairly and justly.

The results have been Varied, Oxenford itself has done well and Lord Cedric administers the city in the name of the Earl, however the same can not be said for the other areas of the County. With many of the old Barons killed and their lines extigushed in the civil war, the previouse Duke, Lord Louis de Maan, appointed old firends Barons to these positions to adminster them. It is possible some members of the Old families have survived but if they have then it would be very hard for them now to reclaim their birth right, possibly not without another civil war.

Only the Barony of Cester is still held by a member of the family, Lady Charlott is only slightly older than the current Earl herself but seems to be competent if a little out of touch with the everyday life of her people, she is apparnetly now looking for a husband so that she will be able to contiue her line.

The Barony of Wittenham, is currently unoccupide, the Enchanted Forest has not been entered for sometime though elves can still be econtered in it out skirts no visit to the Chaple has been made for sometime and the heart of the Forest holds many secrets now.
