On XXI Planting 983 a basket with a babe within was left by the Sidhean shrine in Dunlirron. Though not common it was not unheard for unwanted children to be rasied by the church, and such was Edwards fate. Within the Dunlirron chapel he was raised, the priests as father and mother, other foundings and novices as his brothers and sisters. As he grew he was taught his letters, numbers and the teachings off the All Father while working to keep the shrine in order. Granted the name of Grayson, as all who were raised in the chapel were, he was granted a choice - like many of his siblings he could be aprenticed to one of the guilds to learn a trade or continue to further the work of the Seven.
One of the local priests was a former member of the Templar and his tales lit a spark in Edwards mind - this is what he would do. So that night, cast of his megre possession, he swore his devotion to Sidhe and his loyalty to the Temple. Life didn't get any eaiser. As the correspondecne was sent to inform the order of its newest squire his training was already beginning. Combat training with the devoted, yet more philosophy and religious teachings from the priests. And so life continued until he stepped forth with adventure on his mind.
He got himself a leige while in Nerese... only to have him stolen to undeath a few short months later, however with the aid of many other adventureres he aided in retunning Sir Cearlynn's soul to the Light but not before (In his short role as Knight Commander) ordering the Griffin Order to secure the area surrounding Derwentshire (which got most of them killed and causes lots of diplomatic problems).
He died at the hands of heretics in late 1008 but was ressurected by the grace of Lady Vleybor and has since taken up the cloth. However much that he has returned for has now been stolen from him.
